Privacy Policy

Effective 19 May 2026. Applies to the AgriParity website (agriparity.in) and the AgriParity Android app.

AgriParity is a set of free calculators for Indian agri commodity traders. It is built to be privacy-respecting by default: there is no account, and the numbers you enter never leave your device. This policy explains, plainly, what is and is not collected.

1. No account, no sign-up

AgriParity has no login, no registration, and no user profiles. We do not ask for or collect your name, phone number, email, or any identity information to use the app.

2. Your calculator inputs stay on your device

All calculations run locally in your browser/app. The rates, weights, specifications, and saved presets you enter are stored only in your device's local storage so the app can remember your preferences and recent work. This data is never transmitted to us or to any server. Clearing the site/app data, or uninstalling the app, removes it permanently.

3. Analytics (consent-gated)

To understand which calculators are useful and improve the app, we use Google Analytics 4. It is loaded only after you accept the consent banner: by default analytics storage is set to "denied" (Google Consent Mode), and IP addresses are anonymised. If you do not consent, no analytics identifiers are stored.

When enabled, analytics collects aggregate, non-identifying information such as: which pages and calculators are opened, when a calculation or a result-share occurs, the interface language (English/Hindi), approximate region (derived from an anonymised IP), and device/browser type. It is used only in aggregate to improve AgriParity. We do not use it to build individual user profiles.

4. Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare (hosting/CDN). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, user-agent) to deliver the site securely and reliably.

5. Advertising & tracking

AgriParity does not currently display third-party advertising. If advertising (for example, Google AdSense) is introduced in the future, this page will be updated before it goes live, the ad provider and the data it processes will be disclosed here, and any consent required by law will be obtained. Aside from the consent-gated analytics described above, no third-party tracking is in use at this time.

Regardless, we do not — and will not — sell, rent, or trade your data, and we never collect your trade figures, contracts, or counterparties.

6. Third-party processors

The only third parties that may process limited data are Google (Analytics, only after consent) and Cloudflare (hosting). Their handling is governed by their own policies: Google Privacy Policy · Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

7. Children

AgriParity is a professional tool intended for agri traders and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your choices & rights

• Decline analytics any time via the consent banner.
• Clear all on-device data by clearing site data or uninstalling the app.
• Request information or deletion related to analytics by contacting us (see below). As no account exists, we hold no personal records to look up beyond aggregate analytics.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
